Oxford Churches Debt Centre (OCDC) works with Christians Against Poverty (CAP). CAP is passionate about releasing people in our nation from a life sentence of debt, poverty and its causes.
There is poverty in every community. Hundreds of people are in need of free debt help. Thousands of families can benefit from budgeting and life skills. The UK Church is perfectly placed to tackle these issues.
If you are in debt, you’ve come to the right place. Thousands of people have already been given hope and a solution through CAP.
OCDC cover postcodes OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4, OX33 and OX44, helping lift people out of debt and poverty. Their work is run by a consortium of four local churches and by four part-time staff.
The Centre for Muslim-Christian Studies (CMCS) is an independent Christian-based academic centre in Oxford, where Christians and Muslims come together to learn from and about one another, and our respective faiths, in the context of living relationships.
CMCS aims to bring wisdom and hope in Christian-Muslim relations through transformed minds, by teaching Christians honestly about Islam, teaching Muslims honestly about Christianity, and supporting good quality research on the Christian-Muslim interface.
