St Clement’s Youth

Welcome to our youth page! Here you’ll find details of our weekly youth activities. We have a vibrant group of 11-18 year olds and a programme of activities for all stages of faith.

Overflow is for young people aged 11-16 years old. We meet fortnightly on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-8:30pm.

We play wide games, have a pool table, an Xbox, crafts, board games, and a tuck shop where the young people can spend up to £1 on sweets and biscuits.

Each week, while eating our tuck, one member of team takes the young people through a discussion time, sometimes using Alpha-style recourses, to talk about the big questions young people are thinking about, and to explore the idea of Christian faith. While the group is run by St Clement’s Church and we do talk about the Christian faith, we get many young people who aren’t Christians, and we welcome everyone.

We also do Socials, where we take the young people to do a fun activity somewhere in Oxford. For example, we have gone to play Laser Tag, been to Jump Inc., and had movie nights.

Each year we go on a residential trip away together. In 2024, we went to an activity site and took part in canoeing and rock climbing.

If you’re aged 11-16 years old, we’d love to welcome you to Overflow!

Kingdom Youth is for young people aged 11-16 years old and meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, in The St Clement’s Centre, Cross Street, OX4 1DA, from 10.30am.

Our amazing team uses discussions and prayer activities to help the young people engage with the Bible and apply it to their lives.

Once the session is finished, we walk up to the church together for the tea and coffee time at the end of the service.

For the remaining Sundays, we worship together with the whole church family. You may see one of the young people helping out in the Sunday service – on AV, sound, refreshments, welcoming, in the band, or in one of our kids groups.
